After University of Alabama at Birmingham President Ray Watts got done telling the gathered members of his school’s football team that there would be no next year because the numbers didn’t look right (i.e., the school didn’t want to pump any more money into a program that, while in the process of turning things around, lost an awful lot), Watts opened the floor up to any questions the players had.

So, when given the chance to speak directly to their school’s fearless leader, the players, as you’d probably have guessed, went off. And things got incredibly emotional.
